Sharie Baker obtained her paralegal certificate in 2021. For the next four years she worked for the Meryhew Law Group, LLC, a highly rated and regarded Seattle criminal defense firm that focused on representing persons accused of sexual misconduct in state and federal court. Sharie has also worked as a paralegal and transcriptionist with other attorneys on complex cases, primarily homicides.

Sharie has extensive experience with the Washington criminal court system. She is ready to help you file documents in Federal, State, District and Municipal courts throughout Washington. She can help you scheduling hearings, obtain records and reports, and conduct research on behalf of attorneys. Sharie is also skilled at reviewing and summarizing large amounts of Discovery and other materials, including Body Worn Video footage.

Sharie has transcribed hundreds of witness interviews in very serious sexual offense, homicide and robbery cases. She is experienced in the use of Artificial Intelligence in transcribing and strives to complete her work as efficiently and accurately as she can. She will complete the very demanding course to become a certified transcriptionist in the summer of 2025. Her course is recommended by the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers through Transcribe Anywhere.

Sharie prides herself on being organized, detail-oriented, and thorough. She doesn’t know how to do something half ass. She strives to always maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion. She can talk to anyone, including clients who are in crisis or struggling to communicate. She is a quick learner and open to learning new technologies and methods. Sharie is committed to doing what is necessary to get your clients the best possible outcome in this very difficult time in their lives.

 Sharie is a Seattle native. She and her husband and their dog Boo live in the greater Tacoma area. Sharie and her husband enjoy very loud live music, taking Boo to the dog park, and fixing up their Craftsman home.
